Privacy Policy
How Ghost Ridge uses information when you ride, sign in and share.
Effective October 11, 2026Contact and scope
This policy covers playghostridge.com and its game, accounts, map library, community and shop. For privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests, contact contact@playghostridge.com. Please use your account email when possible so we can verify your request without asking for unnecessary information.
Information you provide
When you create an account or sign in, our authentication provider processes your email address and credentials. Google sign-in may provide account identity and profile information according to your Google permissions. Ghost Ridge uses your account identifier, rider name and selected avatar or title to provide your profile. We also store gameplay information such as XP, coins, inventory, loadout, verified times and submitted run replays, plus maps and community actions you submit.
Information from your browser
Browser storage keeps guest progress, settings, loadout and account sessions, and can hold pending save or run submissions until they sync. Hosting and service providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, requests and error logs. Analytics records page views and product events; signed-in events can be associated with your account identifier.
Why we use information
We use this information to sign you in, save and restore progress across devices, verify runs, calculate rankings and rewards, display your inventory, publish maps, operate community features, handle support and protect the service against misuse. Technical logs and analytics help us understand performance, errors and how features are used.
What other riders can see
Leaderboards can show your rider name, time, rank, level and equipped title. Maps you publish and associated author information are public. Do not put private information in your rider name, map descriptions or other public content. Your email address and authentication credentials are not intended to be public.
Service providers
Ghost Ridge uses Supabase for authentication and stored account/game data, Vercel for hosting and PostHog for product analytics. Google processes Google sign-in if you choose it. If a paid checkout is offered, the payment provider processes the payment details entered at checkout. Providers process information needed to deliver their services and may operate in countries other than yours. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users.
Storage and retention
Account and gameplay data are kept while needed to operate your account and the service. Technical, security, backup or transaction records may need to be retained longer for their operational purpose or legal obligations. Guest data stays in the browser until cleared or replaced. We do not promise a fixed deletion period for every provider’s logs or backups.
Your choices and requests
The existing Data & privacy dialog lets you export local data or clear data on the current device. Clearing browser data does not automatically delete your cloud account. For cloud-account deletion, access, correction or other privacy rights available where you live, email contact@playghostridge.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You can sign out and manage browser storage through your browser settings; blocking storage can prevent sign-in or saving from working.
Young riders
If you are a parent or guardian with a concern about a child’s use of Ghost Ridge or information submitted by a child, contact contact@playghostridge.com so we can investigate and address it.
Updates
This policy may be updated when the service or its data practices change. The effective date appears below. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another appropriate channel.
